really like the non liner aspect to the film and the narrative style
expectation vs reality scene- can not find on youtube but i will post it up when i do
CashBack
Film by Sean Ellis- Tralier:
Part one of two- original short film:
captures the pacing of the movie more than the tralier
Introduction to Cashback:
I found this opening sequence interesting in it pacing in which it was put togeather- the opera like music, the calm almost emotionless narrative vioce, slowed down imagery, all the complete opposite of what the actual event is- allowing the viewer to feel the characters reaction to the situation.
Pan's Labyrinth
Realy beautiful lighting throughout reality scenes- nice combination of blue and orange on either side of the main subject especialy nightime shots towards the begining of the film.
Pushing Daisies
Like the aesthetics of the series, also i find the style of the narrative appealing and complementary to the overall style of the series. it also holds a very particular style in the lighting- kind of happy, contrasting with the underlying theme of the series being based around the idea of death.
